I am changing my mailing policy effective now starting with the session done on April 1st. This will be included in my new contract that I have been working on. I will be emailing a copy of the contract as sessions are booked, so that everyone is clear on my policies etc.
If you live in the Lakeland/Mulberry/Winter Haven/Auburndale areas I will no longer be mailing those CDs & print orders. You will have 60 days to pick up the CD from the first pick-up date given to you. After that time if you do need your CD mailed for some reason, we will arrange for this to be done. Anyone outside of these areas will have the option to have theirs mailed. I hate to have to do this, but local sessions do not have shipping and postage added into the fee whereas out of town sessions have this covered in the travel fee. I have been paying these out of pocket, and sadly I can no longer do this for everyone.
Print orders containg prints larger than 11x14 MUST be picked up (unless you live more than 2 hours outside of town or in another state)
I know that my location has sometimes been an issue when it comes to picking up CDs and print orders, however I am VERY happy to announce that I will be moving the very beginning of June to a more central location in Lakeland (right next to Polk Parkway) So this should become much easier over the next couple of months.
On a lighter note here are some images from a session that I dreamt up in my head a couple months ago. I asked Miss A. if she would be my little model since I thought her short little curls would be perfect, and she is probably the most well behaved almost-three year old I have ever met, so I knew she could handle the hour drive, and the almost 3 hour shoot! I have always loved old Photographs, and in a way I wanted to re-create some vintage images. So with the help of my little model, a great location and absolutely BEAUTIFUL weather (oh and her mommy too!) I got some amazing shots. I am going to post them randomly over the next few months as I work to perfect their "vintage-ness" if anyone has any suggestions on how to make them look even better let me know!.. enjoy :)
I walked into this area and saw the suitcases above.... I was in heaven!
One of my awsome clients let me use the little umbrella above, It is really cute in color too!
I couldnt decide how I liked this one better... so here are both.
The little dress she is wearing came from Etsy, and will be available for sessions if you want to use it. It is a sz 2t but could easily fit 3t or short 4t. :)
